Good practice
Planting tips for large planters
- Keep drainage holes clear and add a layer of gravel at the base.
- Line the inside with a waterproof membrane for planters on finished floors.
- Use a lightweight potting mix on terraces to keep loads down.
- Raise planters slightly on feet so water can drain away underneath.
